The Sikh Gurudwara of Augusta was founded in early 1993 by Sikh Sangat of Augusta. The land was purchased in Evans, GA under KHALSA DIWAN TRUST which is a Tax exempt 501(c)(3) corporation, DBA GURU SINGH SABHA OF AUGUSTA. The Gurudwara is located at 4031 Evans to Lock Road, Evans, GA 30809. It was built by Gurus grace and by the donations of the founding Singh families.,

The Gurudwara’s operations are managed by the Management Sewadars and Volunteer Sewadars. Management Sewadars are appointed by the Board of Trustees according to the Sikh Rayeth Mariada. They must have good practicing Sikh Values (Unshorn Hair and complete believe in Guru Granth Sahib).  There are no paid officials of the Gurdwara. This System has worked efficiently since Gurdwara’s founding.
